Pool Volume & Label-dose Worksheet

Estimate pool volume, then scale a rate from your specific product label.

Enter the rate for your specific product and test result. Leave 0 to calculate volume only.

Enter your values, then select Calculate.

How this is calculated

Rectangular volume = length × width × average depth. Circular volume = π × (diameter ÷ 2)² × average depth. One cubic foot = 7.48051948 US gallons. Label-rate scaling = label amount × pool gallons ÷ label reference gallons. This arithmetic does not determine which chemical or rate is appropriate.

The old generic pH/chlorine dose formulas have been retired. Use your specific product label and reliable water testing. Never mix pool chemicals. Irregular pools need an independently verified volume; consult a pool professional when uncertain.
